Ann Coffey visits Stockport Jobcentre Plus
Stockport MP Ann Coffey visited Stockport Jobcentre Plus, based at Heron House in Wellington Street.
As part of her visit, Ann met local managers and discussed some of the issues which constituents have raised with her regarding Universal Credit, which is due to be fully rolled out in Stockport later this year. Ann was pleased to hear about the support offered to people looking for the right job, including events, training and the new Work Coach scheme.
Ann Coffey said:
“It is good to see that the Jobcentre staff are committed to helping people through the change to Universal Credit.”
